I read something interesting on Wil Wheaton’s blog over at www.WilWheaton.Typepad.com (poor guy effed up his site or something so he’s stuck at that crappy URL until it gets fixed). Wil Wheaton, some of you may remember, played Wesley Crusher, Dr. Crusher’s snot-nosed son on Star Trek: The Next Generation. More importantly, however, he was the kid who liked to write in the film classic, Stand By Me.

The Grammy Awards suck. It is a universal truth that they never seem to get anything right, from mediocre talent being awarded gramophones to botched skits and poorly-produced live performances. Though occasionally they do something right.
I did not watch the show last night, but I was curious this morning to read about how Radiohead did. They were fantastic, and the USC Marching Band was perfect. See for yourself.
So the Grammy Awards finally did something right. Now all they have to do is give more awards to Tool. Then they will have my full approval.
